What we collect

When you use the quote form, we collect the details you provide to build your project brief: your name, email address and, if you choose to give it, a phone number, along with your postcode or suburb, the type of project and work involved, an approximate size, site condition, budget band, timing and a written project description. If you choose to share photos of your project — for example, to show an existing deck, retaining wall or garden — those are collected and used for the same purpose as the rest of your brief, and only for that purpose.

If you use a calculator, the inputs you enter — location, size, site condition and similar — are saved in your own browser so your progress isn't lost between visits. That data stays on your device and is not automatically sent to us; it only becomes part of the information described above if you carry it forward into a quote request.

We do not ask for financial account details, identity documents or other sensitive information as part of the quote process, and you should never need to provide them to request a quote through this site.

Why we collect it

We collect this information for one purpose: to turn your answers into a usable project brief and enable your quote request. We don't ask for more than is useful for that purpose, and we don't use the details you submit — including any photos — for anything unrelated to progressing the enquiry you made.

How your information is used and shared

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Information submitted through the quote form is used to create and progress your specific project brief, and is shared only as needed to do that — for example, so a relevant next step can be taken on your enquiry. It is not added to a general marketing list, and it is not shared for purposes unrelated to the request you made.

We may also collect limited, non-identifying technical information about how the site is used — such as which pages are visited or which buttons are used — to understand overall usage and improve the platform. This is not combined with your project brief to build an individual profile, and it is not used for advertising targeting.

How long we keep it

We retain the information you submit for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfil the purpose it was collected for and to meet reasonable record-keeping needs, after which it is deleted or de-identified. If you'd like your information removed sooner, contact us and we'll action that request.

Your rights under the Privacy Act 2020

In line with the Privacy Act 2020, you can ask what personal information we hold about you and request that it be corrected if it's wrong or out of date. If you'd like to make either request, get in touch through the contact page with enough detail — such as the email address you used on the quote form — for us to locate your information.
